You can still whiten!

As a Registered Dental Hygienist, Megan has access to professional strength desensitizers, and the knowledge to ensure that our entire protocol is designed to reduce sensitivity, even for people who can’t whiten with common types of bleaching material and OTC products.

While everyone is different, you can expect your results to last 6 months to a year. Some people prefer to do touch up appointments every 3-6 months for maintenance, while others find they can go a year or more. Of course, dietary factors like consumption of coffee, red wine, and other stain causing foods can affect the time line, along with your own unique enamel porosity.

Unfortunately, not usually. Whitening is considered a cosmetic procedure, and these are typically not covered by dental insurance. This is true in the dental office as well. There are some exceptions however, and a dental claim form can be provided to you if this is the case. We do not offer direct billing to insurance companies.

Yes. Due to the growth and development of your teeth, whitening is not safe for those under the age of 16.
